Broken Arrow police believe 18-year-old Robert Bever and his as yet unidentified 16-year-old brother killed five members of their family during a gruesome knife and hatchet attack late Wednesday.

Killed were three juveniles, a 5-year-old girl, a 7-year-old boy and a 12-year-old boy, along with the two parents, 52-year-old David Bever and his wife, 44-year-old April Bever, BAPD Cpl. Leon Calhoun said.
“In my opinion, Bill Cameron has set us up, has set up the city of Tulsa, its fans, its players, its coaches, its sponsors, the reputation of its community,” Stuart Price said. “Quite frankly I’m sorry to say Bill Cameron, who was a friend of mine, is just a big liar.”
Tulsa City Manager Jim Twombly says the city has been told by the developer that it continues to pursue a site in Jenks.
“I began discussing this (phased) approach with city leaders in each community immediately after our town halls concluded when the need for a change was evident,” Bynum said
In response to news reports this week that the Tulsa Shock may be moving, Mayor Dewey Bartlett fired off a terse letter asking the franchise to stay put.
The letter from Bartlett to William Cameron, the majority owner of the WNBA team, refers to media reports that the Shock may be relocating. Bartlett wrote the letter Tuesday, the day The Frontier first reported the team’s possible move.
