The main activities the lakes would offer are watercraft-based (small boats, kayaks, canoes, etc.). Swimming is not encouraged due to the uneven nature of the riverbed and the currents traveling through the water in a river.

Well, for July 4th, when the Drillers host Corpus Christi, they’ve decided to with a new jersey set. It’s a blue top with red and white striped sleeves, meant to look like the flag. But it’s what’s underneath the team’s logo that caught some eyes on Twitter.

Dylan Goforth had followed Monroe Bird III through a tumultuous few months for the 21-year-old. He was paralyzed after being shot by a security guard in February. His family announced he died Tuesday, not long after he’d been brought home from the hospital.
