The McCurtain County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the allegations against the U.S. Marshals participating in the hunt for Aaron Paul Victory Sr., 38, who escaped from the Choctaw County Jail on Aug. 7. Allegations against the Marshals are that both men were physically assaulted and one of the men was put in a dog cage with a police dog.
Despite spending $2.2 million trying to stop drug users from getting public assistance funds, only 2.8 percent of applicants have tested positive.
After Pratt was found unresponsive, he was resuscitated and sent to a local hospital where doctors later said the Armor Correctional Health Services employees refused to send them Pratt’s medical records from the jail, according to documents.
“I’ve got to get justice for Cobie. I can’t just let this go. I just can’t do it, no matter how bad I want to,” Tyner’s father told The Frontier.
A police account of the incident says Jack Morris, 53, refused to obey commands and swore at them before becoming aggressive and resisting arrest.
The judge’s ruling also gives access to communications between government officials and Tulsa-based New Dominion LLC regarding links between disposal wells and seismic activity.
The Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office is set to sell off hundreds of firearms seized over the course of several decades. But their approach — raising funds by suddenly allowing hundreds of firearms back into the community — is one not shared by many of the largest law enforcement agencies in the state.
“I believe it should be the parents’ privilege to decide. I believe the parents should be fully informed about the vaccination and the parents should have the right to decide whether the vaccination should be given to their child,” Richardson said.
