
Interns Peggy Dodd and Kevin Eagleson are joining the staff of The Frontier this summer.
Dodd grew up in Jones and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in women and gender studies from the University of Oklahoma in May. She has previously worked at KOSU Radio in Oklahoma City, where she covered local news. She is also a past Carnegie-Knight News21 fellow in Phoenix, Arizona, where she covered election officials and their efforts to secure safe elections across the country ahead of the 2024 presidential race.
She served as OU Daily’s editor-in-chief during her senior year of college, covering the city of Norman and university matters.
Eagleson is an Oklahoma City native and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in May with bachelor’s degrees in journalism and political science.
Eagleson was most recently a reporter for the OU Daily. He also spent time in Washington, D.C., as a correspondent covering national news with an Oklahoma angle and reported from Iowa during the 2024 Republican Caucus for Gaylord News. Eagleson also previously interned at the Enid News & Eagle.
