Keaton Shaffer has joined the staff of The Frontier this summer as an intern focused on social media and video.
Shaffer is a writer, journalist and filmmaker from Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. He is working on his undergraduate degree in print journalism at the University of Oklahoma.
Shaffer said he hopes his video work will bring Oklahomans more entry points to The Frontier’s in-depth, investigative reporting.
Shaffer aims to deliver the right information to those who need it. He said he believes knowledge is power.
Shaffer’s internship is part of the Inasmuch Foundation’s Community Fellowship program, which links college students with local nonprofits for paid summer positions.
The Frontier launched in 2015 as Oklahoma’s premier investigative outlet.
