The Frontier has hired Reese Gorman to cover Oklahoma politics and state government. Gorman previously worked as a reporter at The Norman Transcript. He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Oklahoma Christian University. He moved from Texas to Oklahoma in 2017 to attend college and play on the Oklahoma Christian golf team.
Political reporting is more important than ever and The Frontier is committed to keeping an eye on the state Legislature and Oklahoma’s congressional delegation.
“Oklahoma is a unique place politically, full of storylines to follow and deep reporting to do,” said Frontier Executive Editor Dylan Goforth. “Any state with a supermajority of either party requires as much scrutiny as you can throw at it.”
Gorman will team up with Frontier reporter Kayla Branch to cover Oklahoma politics with an eye on accountability.
