The third-annual PatriotFest celebration begins 8 a.m. Saturday with a car cruise along historic Route 66.

PatriotFest began as a complement to the Folds of Honor golf tournament. That was three years ago. Since then, PatriotFest has become one of Tulsa’s most popular Memorial Day celebrations.

On this week’s Listen Frontier podcast, PatriotFest Chairman John Fothergill talks about the festival’s history and the lineup of activities planned for Saturday. He also discusses the great success the festival has had in raising funds for Folds of Honor and other organizations that support America’s veterans.

PatriotFest is held at the Route 66 Village, 3770 Southwest Blvd., and across the street at Webster High School. Admission is free.
