City Councilor and Mayor-Elect G.T. Bynum talks to Kevin Canfield about how the road to victory was paved with knocking on doors all over Tulsa and asking people to vote for him.
On election night, as Bynum waited with his campaign team inside the Stokely Event Center, he told Canfield: “We kept waiting for something bad to happen.”
Instead, he pulled off a landslide victory in this week’s mayoral primary against incumbent Mayor Dewey Bartlett.
