Voting this year already is different compared to previous elections because of the coronavirus. The Frontier will be on the lookout for any problems that prevent people from voting. You can help us.
The Frontier is one of many members partnering with ProPublica’s Electionland project, which is focused on election integrity. We’re asking Oklahomans to reach out this election should they have trouble casting their votes.
Electionland has launched a tip line for voters to report concerns or problems they encountered while trying to cast their ballot.
This information with help contribute to and inform The Frontier’s election coverage. The goal is to use tips from readers like you to accurately report what problems voters are encountering while trying to cast their ballots.
Issues may include mail ballot delivery problems, changed voting locations, long lines, broken machines, misinformation, COVID-19 concerns and voter intimidation.
Those who signed up before they vote will get a text message on Election Day to ask how their voting experience went. That information will be passed on to Electionland partners, including The Frontier.
