We’re looking for a journalist who wants to grow their investigative reporting skills in Oklahoma.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who likes what The Frontier does and wants to do their best work here. As far as a beat goes, tell us what issues you’re passionate about looking into and we’ll see if our interests align. We’re looking for a critical thinker who can work independently and is detail-oriented with facts. We need someone who wants to work on longer-term, deeply reported projects along with shorter-term news stories. We are willing to consider someone with a little less experience if we feel like it would be a good fit with our newsroom.
You will join Oklahoma’s top nonprofit investigative newsroom. We have a small, dedicated team that regularly punches above its weight, breaking important stories and taking top honors in state and regional journalism contests. The Frontier has a mission to produce fearless, independent journalism with impact. We hold those in power accountable and tell stories that matter to Oklahoma.

Requirements: BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
