Listen Frontier: As Tulsa Federal Credit Union Tulsa Run turns 40, organizers plan to make this year’s event something special

On this week’s Listen Frontier podcast we are joined by Heath Aucoin, race director for the Tulsa Federal Credit Union Tulsa Run.

The race, set for Oct. 28, turns 40 this year. Event organizers have a series of special events planned to celebrate the anniversary. Organizers are also creating an online database that will allow people to plug in their names and retrieve a personalized history of their Tulsa Run performances.

Aucoin has been Tulsa Run race director for five years. Overseeing the race is just one of the events he’s responsible for as vice president of operations for the Tulsa Sports Commission and VisitTulsa.
