On November 23, 2012, Michael Dunn, a middle-aged white man, shot and killed black 17-year-old Jordan Davis at a gas station in Jacksonville, Florida after Davis refused to turn down the volume of his music. ‘3 1/2 Minutes, Ten Bullets’ draws on 200 hours of footage to reconstruct the night of the murder, the trial, and Jordan’s parents’ journey through grief and activism.
